ResetKit Is Free Right Now
ResetKit is free. Not a trial, not a discount, not fourteen days. Sign up and use it.
There is no card to enter and no countdown running in the background. Existing accounts are included, so if you signed up a week ago and thought you were on a clock, you are not.
What you get
Everything. Password reset flows, email two factor, TOTP, magic links, webhooks with signing. Ten connections, which is enough to put this in front of real users rather than only try it.
The same service, not a cut-down version of it.
Why
Honestly, because we would rather people use this than pay for it right now.
The product works and almost nobody has run it in anger yet. What we need is real traffic through real integrations, telling us which parts are confusing and which parts break at three in the morning. We cannot learn that from a pricing page.
Charging a dollar a month and getting five customers teaches us nothing that fifty people using it for free would not teach us better.
The honest part
We had a stretch where our outbound email was misconfigured and messages were not arriving. That is written up in its own post, because a service that sends authentication email failing to send email is not something to bury in a footnote.
Card payments also are not switched on yet. We could have quietly left the trial clock running and let people discover that when it expired. Making it properly free was the more honest answer, and it is the reason this post exists rather than a banner saying "contact us for pricing".
What happens when it ends
It will end. Prices are on the pricing page and they are not aspirational: one, three and nine dollars a month depending on how many connections you need.
When the free period closes, here is the commitment. You will get notice before anything changes, and nothing will be deleted or switched off without you deciding to let it. No account converts to a paid plan by default and no card gets charged because a date passed. If you want to keep going you will choose to, and if you do not, your data stays where it is while you export it.
We are not going to turn an open door into a bill.

The .edu offer is unchanged and it is not tied to this. Sign up with a school email and Starter is free permanently, not just while this period runs.
